Cajun's Wharf
- December 1, 2006
Dinner at 7
LET'S EAT!
This is a personal invitation to administrative professionals in central Arkansas
who are interested in improving themselves through the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). The
Central Arkansas Chapter (CAC) of IAAP is going to have an informal social at Cajun’s Wharf on the evening of Friday,
December 1. The tentative time for dinner is 7 pm. The chapter will not be paying for dinner, but you will have
several opportunities to win a Cajun’s Wharf gift certificate between now and December 1, which could be used for dinner
that night (see below).
Many of you have been involved with groups of administrative professionals in the past,
either through your work or an independent group. Well, now we would like to invite you to join the CAC IAAP. IAAP
is an international group with nearly 600 chapters all across the globe, including ours.
Our biggest advantage is being a part of IAAP’s mission, which is to be the acknowledged,
recognized leader of administrative professionals and to enhance the individual and collective value, image, competence and
influence of those professionals. This mission is achieved through professional
certification, training, networking and leadership. When you join IAAP, there’s
a long list of immediate benefits available for you to enjoy--publications, discounts, IAAP’s Web site with a special
place for members only—to name a few.
The only disadvantages we have found are that we must meet during our lunch time and eat
during the meeting; we meet in various locations, which means sometimes we have to drive to the meeting; and not enough of
our friends and co-workers attend meetings.
Our chapter will offer each of you a small incentive to get signed up by offering a chance
to win a gift certificate to Cajun’s Wharf. Who qualifies? Some of you will have a chance to “get your
name in the hat” up to three times with the following guidelines:
The drawing will be at Cajun’s Wharf on December 1. You do not have to be
present to win. Please consider joining us for dinner and for opportunities through
membership in CAC IAAP!
If you plan to attend, please contact Teresa
Tidwell at tltidwell@arkbluecross.com 501-378-2119 or Carolyn Rufus CPS at clrufus@arkbluecross.com 501-301-3432 so reservations can be made for you.
