Central Arkansas Chapter Members:

It is hard to believe that it’s been eight months since our chapter was inducted and now the time has come to induct the 2006-2007 Chapter Officers.  I have learned so much serving as Chapter President and I look forward to assisting our officers and also serving as Division Chair of the APW/Education Committee this coming year. 

The most important learning experience for me is getting to know the members that make this association great.  As our Past Division President, Marsha Bryan, so brilliantly commented – “You just cannot get much bang for your buck if you don’t become an involved, active member. Being an involved, active member does not mean you have to give hours of your time or serve your Chapter or Division as an officer.  Attend your monthly meetings, give your officers feedback and tell them what you would like to see your chapter achieve.  Get to know your fellow members, support your Division and Chapter Officers and read the communications they provide to you. I promise you, if you do these little things, your membership will become even more valuable to you.” 

I would like to thank my chapter officers who worked tirelessly to provide our members with important, priceless information pertaining to both their careers and personal lives.

Thank you again for a wonderful and exciting year and I look forward to the future success of the Central Arkansas Chapter!
